Kashgar, Xinjiang holds tourism promotion activities to promote exchanges among various ethnic groups

Recently, the 2026 Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Tourism Promotion and Integration Promotion Activity was held in Kashgar City, jointly organized by multiple departments.  

During the event, representatives from various cultural and tourism units and tour guides exchanged speeches, and attendees observed multiple cultural and tourism destinations in Kashgar. In recent years, Xinjiang has focused on strengthening the sense of community of the Chinese nation and creating a strong cultural and tourism area. By 2025, the entire region will receive 323 million tourists and generate tourism revenue of 370 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8% and 8.4%, respectively. Tourism has promoted exchanges, communication, and integration among various ethnic groups.  

In the future, Xinjiang will focus on strengthening the awareness of the Chinese nation as a community, implement the "Six Actions", practice "internal strength" through standardized explanatory language, launch immersive routes and study products to expand "extension", deepen "attracting customers into Xinjiang", and form a demonstration effect.
